# About Under the Behavior

Source page: https://underthebehavior.com/about

Under the Behavior tells the true stories behind famous psychology studies. How the videos are made, what is drawn, what is synthetic, and how to reach us.

Under the Behavior is a YouTube channel about famous psychology studies and the stories told about them. Each episode starts with the version most people know, then goes back to the papers, the archives and the court records to see what they say.

The person at the center of each story is a real person: a named participant, a published case or the researcher.

## How the videos are made
- The narration is a synthetic voice. When we quote a real person's words from a source, another synthetic voice reads them, and the screen says it is voiced testimony.
- Scenes are drawn. Reconstructions are labelled on screen. We show no photoreal people, and we never show a photo of a victim.
- AI tools help us research, write, narrate and draw. Every claim still has to come from a source we list under the video, and the fact check for each episode is written down before it goes out.
- Nothing on the channel or this site is a diagnosis or advice. We explain research. We never tell anyone what they have.
